Relocation Strategies + Relo Design provided comprehensive furniture planning and move management services for the Gradex two locations, totaling approximately 42,000 square feet. Using our proprietary I.D.E.A. iPad application, the team created a detailed inventory with photographs, dimensions and condition ratings. This information was incorporated into AutoCAD floor plans to maximize furniture reuse and identify areas requiring new or quality preowned pieces.

Our team developed the furniture budget, selected finishes, coordinated electrical and data requirements and managed furniture procurement, delivery and installation. We also created the mover RFP, labeling system, relocation schedule and detailed move instructions while coordinating vendors throughout the transition.

As part of the decommissioning process, unwanted furniture was offered to local nonprofit organizations. We coordinated pickups and arranged for any remaining items to be recycled or responsibly disposed of. This approach reduced waste, supported the community and saved Gradex approximately $1 per square foot in removal costs.
