Last month, I participated in the The Great Pitch Competition hosted by the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council. “Together We Triumph” was the theme for the conference, which was perfect inspiration for all the challenges we’ve had to face this year.
The experience of the competition was incredible, but the most remarkable thing for me was the amount of expertise, intelligence and creativity the 150 applicants brought. Women from all kinds of backgrounds, with all different pitches and brilliant business ideas coming together to share with each other and promote each other reminded me about what we are celebrating this month, women business owners and women in business. This is a worthy way of commemorating our achievements and what’s to come, and I was honored to be a finalist. To all those who participated and organized this great event, thank you!
